A variety of creative and functional designs can be realized with the insulating glass OKATHERM without inserts. A broad palette of different types of glass, coatings and build-ups offer protection and supply functions for façade and roof and meet the specific functional requirements of architects and planners for each project. The combination of OKATHERM insulating glass with other OKALUX solutions will also ensure a uniform façade appearance.

User Comfort

The use of daylight and a comfortable room climate create a comfortable atmosphere

In the standard structure, the visible width of the perimeter seal is 12 mm. Glass-specific static loads may make a reinforced version necessary. On request we can offer various special structures, such as

stepped edges, if required with sheet metal applied to eave or glass Joint
stainless steel spacers
U-profiles in the perimeter seal to hold the glass with claws
silicone-compatible secondary seals
glass types for structural sealant glazing

Ug-values achieved with common OKATHERM build-ups; in a 2-pane build-up up to 1.0 W/(m²K), in a 3-pane build-up up to 0.5 W/(m²K). The achievable g-value and light transmission depend on the product variant chosen, which in essence involves the coating, glass types and thicknesses.
