What do such technical solutions look like up close? In the new two-court sports hall in Affing-Bergen, designed by Schwinde Architekten, KAPILUX W by OKALUX – a company of the Glas Trösch Group – was integrated into the light bands of the façade glazing. The white capillary slabs within the insulating glass diffuse daylight softly and evenly, creating nearly glare-free illumination deep into the interior.
The capillary system also enhances thermal insulation and allows the light transmission to be precisely tailored to the building’s specific requirements. This makes KAPILUX W a powerful solution for spaces with high demands on daylight and comfort.
