Designed in sustainable timber by the in-house planning team of the Miltenberg district, the building reflects a thoughtful balance of ecological responsibility and cost-effectiveness.
A key element of the daylighting strategy is OKALUX K – a triple insulating glass with integrated capillary panel. It delivers soft, diffuse daylight, ensuring glare-free and evenly lit interiors, while also optimising thermal performance. The deliberate omission of suspended ceilings and wall linings enhances the hall’s open and honest spatial character.
Designed for school and community use, the project blends architectural clarity with everyday functionality – creating a resilient, inclusive space for movement and shared experiences.
