In Givisiez, Switzerland, Scott Sports SA, the renowned manufacturers of sporting goods, has built a headquarters as agile as itself. Located in an industrial estate, the building is characterized by its sensual use of light and materiality, with an envelope that has flexible solar shading and an interplay of wood and glass on the inside.

This stunning design by Itten+Brechbühl AG is complemented by our fire-resistant glazing FIRESWISS FOAM. Beyond meeting standard requirements, this solution offers barrier-free views, marrying safety with design. The butt joint glazing stands out for its delicate appearance and functionality: In case of fire, the glass's innovative thermo-transformation layers ensure safety by absorbing radiant heat, achieving an EI fire rating. These layers solidify into a robust foam, securing the integrity of the glass against fire.
