A façade as a tribute to color

| BGT | Reference

For the headquarter of one of the world's most traditional labeling specialists - RAL Farben - architect Frank Piotrowski realized a building design that captivates with its variety of colors.

With a fanned-out façade of 424 glass panes in 84 shades, it conveys at a glance the company's nearly century-long history of color coding. To this day, the 2328 RAL colors are the global standard for professional users in industry, crafts and design.

The color brilliance of the printed glass with ceramic frit from our subsidiary BGT Bischoff Glastechnik comes into its own perfectly in this application example. In a sophisticated process that has been tried and tested over many years, ceramic color particles were fired directly onto the glass here to achieve a broad color spectrum as well as resistant, weatherproof and lightfast results.
