Germany's tallest residential skyscraper

| BGT | Reference

Frankfurt am Main continues to rise, with the city's skyline reaching new heights at the entrance to the Europaviertel. Among the four impressive new skyscrapers in the area is the Grand Tower.

Designed by Magnus Kaminiarz and developed by GSP Städtebau, this architectural landmark is currently the tallest residential building in Germany at nearly 180 metres. The tower has 47 residential floors, 413 apartments and an impressive total area of 44,000 square metres.

A distinctive feature is the honeycomb-shaped loggia elements that wrap around the tower, giving the facade – made of 20,000 square metres of glass and aluminium – a dynamic structure.

To this extensive glazing we contributed high performance insulating glass as part of other advanced solutions for thermal and solar protection, tailored to withstand wind speeds of up to 24 m/s.
