Natural Light for Modern Art: OKALUX at HAM Helsinki Art Museum

| OKALUX | Reference

Built in 1937, the Tennispalatsi in Helsinki is a prominent example of Finnish modernism by architect Helge Lundström.

With its clear, functionalist design, the former sports hall stands as a significant architectural testimony of its era. Today, transformed into the HAM Helsinki Art Museum, it offers a unique dialogue between historic substance and contemporary art.

Our OKALUX insulating glass with integrated capillary panels channels glare-free daylight deep into the museum spaces, enhancing both the architectural character of the building and the presentation of the artworks.

On view until 21 September 2025: the Helsinki Biennial, featuring 37 artists and collectives, with half of the works newly commissioned for this unique venue.
