The glass-metal façade was developed in collaboration with Aepli Metallbau AG and BGT Bischoff Glastechnik – a company of the Glas Trösch Group. Around 1,680 individually screen-printed glass units were manufactured using the COLORPRINT process. Glazing solutions included SILVERSTAR COMBI Neutral 51/26 and SILVERSTAR EN2plus T, offering solar protection, high light transmission and thermal insulation. In areas requiring enhanced safety, SWISSLAMEX laminated safety glass and SWISSDUREX heat-strengthened glass were used.
The new building creates a unique link between Stadelhofen station and Zurich’s city centre. It accommodates high-quality rental spaces for offices, retail and services, and includes an underground bicycle station with around 800 parking spaces – contributing to sustainable urban mobility.
